Description of CostOS Estimating Standard Edition 1.5.1:
CostOS Estimating enables Cost Estimators to build cost estimates quickly and accurately. It "catches" the experience gained from previous estimates and enables the user to quickly build new ones based on previous already estimated items. A construction company can build a network of suppliers and subcontractors, keep a record of the cost efficiency of its equipment fleet and maintain a database with cost rates from different geographical areas.

With CostOS Standard you can easily build a database with all the cost data needed to rapidly price your projects. Pricing more jobs means you get more offers from suppliers and subcontractors. It also means that you get to know the different rates between different geographical areas and countries. As you are undertaking more projects you can easily judge about whom of the suppliers or the subcontractors is a reliable one and who is not. You get to know the labor and equipment rates and their productivities. You also get to know the best combination of labor and equipment to perform specific tasks.
